To receive Salvation requires asking for Jesus Christ to be your personal Savior with recognition of what Jesus Christ has done in order to receive the Salvation, which is permanent, and the free gift does come with responsibilities that are part of a person's freewill to do so that affects the person's earthly life and Rewards in Heaven.

What is a Saint?

A Saint in the Scriptures is a person that has Salvation and the person is set apart.  It is a seal and marked for redemption in Eternity

Incorrect Understanding of the Word Saint

In some Christian Denominations, the term "saint" has taken on a meaning of special significance that somehow human beings can vote on Earth that a person that has died is entitled to have special rewards from God.  This is ludicrous as God is the only Judge as detailed in the two judgments called:

  1. Judgment Seat of Christ, and
  2. Great White Thrown of Judgment.
