All the promises in the scriptures, both Old and New Testament, will be fulfilled.  The nation of Israel started with Abraham, and throughout history, every nation that did harm to Israel including genocides, suffered greatly as a consequence.  Later in this topic, there is a table of countries that did evil against Jewish people and the Nation of Israel.  When reviewing the status of the monetary and civil benefits of the countries, after the evil done to Jewish people, there was an immediate consequence to the country at whole.

Genesis 12:1-4 1 The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. 2 “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” 4 So Abram went, as the Lord had told him; and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Harran. 5 He took his wife Sarai, his nephew Lot, all the possessions they had accumulated and the people they had acquired in Harran, and they set out for the land of Canaan, and they arrived there.

Greatest Prejudice in the History of the World

Many Christians and non-Christians, ask why has there been the history of hatred and the attempts to kill every Jewish person in the world.  The second often asked question is if Jesus Christ died on the Cross for the sins of the world, then why is Lucifer still active against Israel.

There have been many genocides in the history of the world, which proves mankind is basically not good, where specific groups of people were targeted for murder because of their:

There is no group that has been singled out for:

  1. Genocide,
  2. Forced conversion to another religion,
  3. Confiscation of property,
  4. Expulsion from the entire region or country

by multiple differently unrelated groups than the Jewish people.

List of Genocide and Killing Attempts

This list only contains some of the major occurrences throughout history against the Jewish People where the aggressor:

Note that many of the wars included in the Old Testament are not included.  The ones that are not included, while they were certainly Satanically motivated, were often over territory by countries or empires acquiring more land where they did not attempt to kill all the Jewish population with the exception of Haman the Agagite.

* Biblical Scholars point to Zechariah 13:8 as prophetic about the Tribulation Period where 2/3 of Israel will be wiped out in the last and worst Holocaust at the hands of the Antichrist.
** This estimates number for Jewish deaths.  There is also a undetermined numbers of possibly millions of  non-Jewish peoples from Eastern European countries, amongst other nations, that were exterminated based on Nazis beliefs of genetic inferiority.  As an example, Gypsies

Zechariah 13:8 In the whole land, declares the LORD, two thirds shall be cut off and perish, and one third shall be left alive.

Blood Libel Propaganda

Blood Libel is a a very Satanic Propagandistic statement that falsely claims Jewish people use the blood of small Christian children to make unleavened bread or Jewish Rituals.  This is mentioned because it still even heard today.  The Laws of the Torah prohibit the consumption of blood in animals that are used as food sources.  Below are just a few of the scriptural passages of over 31 scriptures that prohibit consumption of blood.

Also, there is the sixth law against murder in the Ten Commandments.  It is illogical and pure prejudice for anyone to first believe that Blood Libel is something that Jewish people practice, and then to believe Jewish people would go against their highly venerated laws.

Leviticus 3:17 It is a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings: you shall not eat any fat or any blood.’
Leviticus 17:10-12

‘And any man from the house of Israel, or from the aliens who sojourn among them, who eats any blood, I will set My face against that person who eats blood and will cut him off from among his people. For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood by reason of the life that makes atonement.’ Therefore I said to the sons of Israel, ‘No person among you may eat blood, nor may any alien who sojourns among you eat blood.’

Leviticus 19:26 ‘You shall not eat anything with the blood, nor practice divination or soothsaying.
Deuteronomy 12:23 Only be sure that you do not eat the blood, for the blood is the life, and you shall not eat the life with the flesh.
Deuteronomy 15:23 Only you shall not eat its blood; you are to pour it out on the ground like water.
Acts 15:29 that you abstain from things sacrificed to idols and from blood and from things strangled and from fornication; if you keep yourselves free from such things, you will do well. Farewell.

United Nations (UN) Prejudice

Many of us did not know that the United Nations (UN) with the charter from June 26, 1945 had these four purposes taken directly from their website:

  1. Maintain International Peace and Security
  2. Develop Friendly Relations
  3. Achieve International Cooperation to Solve International Problems
  4. A Center for Harmonizing Actions to Attain the common Goals

Has the UN accomplished these goals in regards to the area known as the Middle East which Israel as a Nation has been in constant turmoil, wars and international sanctions?  The answer can be judged by the actions of the UN towards Israel, where the Christian should know that:

The numbers of resolutions against Israel are beyond comprehension that shows the extreme hatred towards Jewish People and Israel.  There are many Biblical Scholars that have stated that the United States protection for an overdue judgment has been our allegiance to Israel:

Palestine Belong to Palestinians?

Prior to 1948 the area known as Palestine, areas of modern-day Israel and some surrounding areas, was mostly a sparsely populated region that was not attractive, which has been incredibly transformed by the Israeli nation.  The term Palestinian has largely been used for any peoples that are living in the area of modern-day Israel, which are not Jewish.  This is a very incorrect term as a true Palestinian is someone of descent coming from the land in and around Egypt.

The birth of Israel as a nation occurred in 1948 after the ending of the British occupation and protection where a war began between the inhabitants of many people of different middle-eastern descent, who were then accompanied by surrounding middle-eastern countries, against the Jewish inhabitants.  The skirmishes and battles went on for almost two years.  Israel's declaration of independence occurred on May 14, 1948.

There are many websites that document the 1948 Israel independence War, but unfortunately call the event the "1948 Arab-Israeli War".  It is very incorrect to label all of the non-Jewish inhabitants as Arabs, as an Arabian is someone of lineage from Saudi Arabia.  This is not mentioned to indicate there was not Arabs involved in the war, but they were not the only lineage.

There is a very high-level and wonderful written summary of the area concerning the 1948 war from "Beyond Today - Palestine Israel Whose Land is It, Really".

Middle Eastern Countries Aggression

The problems in the Middle-East, and how the world is trying to be involved over the country of Israel, are overwhelmingly one-sided against Israel.  The obvious solution is for the countries surrounding Israel is to cohabitate with Israel so that prosperity could develop for all.  Christians are aware of the prophetic future and the reasons for the problems so this will never happen until Jesus Christ rules over Israel in the 1000 Millennial Kingdom.

The following table contains the genocide and war attempts listed above in this topic along with other notable events that were never initiated by Israel.  The highlighted 'names' indicates the additions that can be categorized as a military action and not necessarily a full-scale war.  This table does not list the almost constant mortar and rocket launches, along with so many other types of civil disobedience that includes murders, rapes and theft against Jewish citizens of Israel.

Has God Abandoned Israel?

There are often questions on why has Israel and the Jewish people suffered so greatly.  Perhaps one of the most often ask question is where was God during the Holocaust?  God has never abandoned anyone and especially not the nation of Israel.  People will either never acknowledge God, refuse to accept Him, and sometimes we all can abandoned God.

In the Old Testament history of the Nation of Israel, there were many periods where they were subjugated and suffered greatly.  As an example, during the time of King Nebuchadnezzar, the city of Jerusalem had three different sieges where Jerusalem was eventually destroyed, many people were killed and thousands of Jewish captives were taken into slavery.  The prophets Jeremiah and Ezekiel both warned the King that Nebuchadnezzar was God's judgment instrument, but Jerusalem would be re-inhabited again where the people would return to rebuild the Temple.

There are six very important points that address the questions regarding Israel's past, present and future before citing scriptural verses:

  1. God made many unconditional promises to Israel where everyone in the world is blessed because of these promises.
  2. Israel failed to recognize the Messiah promised, but in the future will recognize Jesus Christ as their Messiah during the Tribulation Period which is the primary Tribulation Purpose.
  3. During the Tribulation Period, there will be 144,000 Jewish Virgin Men who will be evangelizing the world for Jesus Christ.
  4. During the 1000 Millennial Kingdom, Jesus Christ will rule from Israel on a thrown as King David once did.  Israel will be the most important country in the world, and the center country for everyone to worship Jesus Christ.
  5. As read in the Old Testament scriptures, Israel's destiny, safety and prosperity has always been completely contingent upon:
    (a) obedience,
    (b) honoring God, and
    (c) never worshiping false gods

There are many scriptures that describe the consequences.
  6. Even with the consequences to Israel as nation and people, the destiny, safety and prosperity of the gentile nations and peoples was also contingent upon treating Israel and Jewish people with respect, dignity and fairness, where the nations that have not done so have suffered greatly.
    (a) The Old Testament describes the fate of all the countries that went against Israel, such as Egypt, Babylon, Medo-Persians, Seleucid Dynasty and eventually even the Roman Empire.  Many Biblical Scholars have pointed out that God used the Roman Empire as means to spread the Gospel where after this accomplishment, the Barbarian and Asian Horse Marauder Groups destroyed the Roman Empire.
    (b) A complete list can be found on this link from WIKI, where the reader can do research on what happened shortly after the event.

The following scriptures are a few of the major scriptural passages that describe the penalties and consequences for Israeli:

Note that when Israel returned to following God then God always came to their rescue.

Deuteronomy 4:25-28

25 “When you father children and have grandchildren, and you grow old in the land, and you act corruptly, and make an idol in the form of anything, and do what is evil in the sight of the Lord your God to provoke Him to anger, 26 I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today, that you will certainly perish quickly from the land where you are going over the Jordan to take possession of it. You will not live long on it, but will be utterly destroyed. 27 The Lord will scatter you among the peoples, and you will be left few in number among the nations where the Lord drives you. 28 There you will serve gods, the work of human hands, wood and stone, which neither see nor hear, nor eat nor smell anything.
1 Kings 14:15

“For the Lord will strike Israel, just as a reed sways in the water; and He will uproot Israel from this good land which He gave to their fathers, and will scatter them beyond the Euphrates River, because they have made their Asherim, provoking the Lord to anger.  (Note: Asherim, also known as worship of Asherah, is a goddess cult symbol.)
Leviticus 26:27-35 27 ‘Yet if in spite of this you do not obey Me, but act with hostility against Me, 28 then I will act with wrathful hostility against you, and I for My part will punish you seven times for your sins. 29 Further, you will eat the flesh of your sons, and you will eat the flesh of your daughters. 30 I then will destroy your high places, and cut down your incense altars, and pile your remains on the remains of your idols, for My soul will loathe you. 31 I will turn your cities into ruins as well and make your sanctuaries desolate, and I will not smell your soothing aromas. 32 And I will make the land desolate so that your enemies who settle in it will be appalled at it. 33 You, however, I will scatter among the nations, and I will draw out a sword after you, as your land becomes desolate and your cities become ruins. 34 ‘Then the land will restore its Sabbaths all the days of the desolation, while you are in your enemies’ land; then the land will rest and restore its Sabbaths. 35 All the days of its desolation it will have the rest which it did not have on your Sabbaths, while you were living on it.
Nehemiah 1:8-9 8 Remember, please, the word which You commanded Your servant Moses, saying, ‘If you are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the peoples; 9 but if you return to Me and keep My commandments and do them, though those of you who have been scattered were in the most remote part of the heavens, I will gather them from there and bring them to the place where I have chosen to have My name dwell.’
Ezekiel 6:8-10 8 “However, I will leave a remnant, in that you will have those who escaped the sword among the nations when you are scattered among the countries. 9 Then those of you who escape will remember Me among the nations to which they will be taken captive, how I have been hurt by their adulterous hearts which turned away from Me, and by their eyes which committed infidelity with their idols; and they will loathe themselves in their own sight for the evils which they have committed, for all their abominations. 10 Then they will know that I am the Lord; I have not said in vain that I would inflict this disaster on them.”’
Ezekiel 22:13-15 13 Behold, therefore, I have smitten my hand at thy dishonest gain which thou hast made, and at thy blood which hath been in the midst of thee. 14 Can thy heart endure, or can thy hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with thee? I, Jehovah, have spoken it, and will do it. 15 And I will scatter you among the nations and disperse you among the lands, and I will eliminate your uncleanness from you.
Ezekiel 20:23-24 23 Also I swore to them in the wilderness that I would scatter them among the nations and disperse them among the lands, 24 because they had not complied with My ordinances, but had rejected My statutes and had profaned My Sabbaths, and their eyes were on the idols of their fathers.
Ezekiel 36:17-20 17 “Son of man, when the house of Israel was living on their own land, they defiled it by their ways and their deeds; their way before Me was like the uncleanness of a woman in her impurity. 18 Therefore I poured out My wrath on them for the blood which they had shed on the land, because they had defiled it with their idols. 19 I also scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed throughout the lands. According to their ways and their deeds I judged them. 20 When they came to the nations where they went, they profaned My holy name, because it was said of them, ‘These are the people of the Lord, yet they have left His land.’
Psalm 44:9-16 9 Yet You have rejected us and brought us to dishonor, And do not go out with our armies. 10 You cause us to turn back from the enemy; And those who hate us have taken spoils for themselves. 11 You turn us over to be eaten like sheep, And have scattered us among the nations. 12 You sell Your people cheaply, And have not profited by their sale. 13 You make us an object of reproach to our neighbors, Of scoffing and ridicule to those around us. 14 You make us a proverb among the nations, A laughingstock among the peoples. 15 All day long my dishonor is before me And I am covered with my humiliation, 16 Because of the voice of one who taunts and reviles, Because of the presence of the enemy and the avenger.
Lamentations 4:16 The presence of the Lord has scattered them, He will not continue to look at them; They did not honor the priests, They did not favor the elders.
Isaiah 11:12 And He will lift up a flag for the nations And assemble the banished ones of Israel, And will gather the dispersed of Judah From the four corners of the earth.
Deuteronomy 4:29-31 29 But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul. 30 When you are in distress and all these things happen to you, in the latter days you will return to the Lord your God and listen to His voice. 31 For the Lord your God is a compassionate God; He will not abandon you nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant with your fathers which He swore to them.
Jeremiah 31:10 Hear the word of the Lord, you nations, And declare it in the coastlands far away, And say, “He who scattered Israel will gather him, And He will keep him as a shepherd keeps his flock.”

As a Christian

As a Christian, we all need to relate to the Jewish people and apply the knowledge learned from the scriptures to our lives for our constant improvement.  Our love for God, obedience and never worshipping false gods also matters greatly.

There are many Biblical Scholars that point out that the Christian are under a new more encompassing law of the Holy Spirit, that gives us great freedoms, privileges and rewards because of Jesus Christ, but also has a higher level of responsibilities in living our lives to honor God, which is the purpose of the Third Commandment
