The definition and an Example

A conundrum is something that is puzzling or confusing.  An example of a humorous conundrum usage.  

"A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don't have one, then you will probably never need one again."

In a very liberal generalized sense, below is an example of mostly Socialistic Democrat people, who illustrate a conundrum, with their incorrect beliefs of:

1. The United States is a greedy nation, yet an estimated 21.3% of the population in 2015 are subsidized by the government in one substantial form or another.
2. Of the 21.3% of the population, that is subsidized, there is a predominating belief that they are victims according to many surveys.
3. These supposed victims, keep electing the same representatives from one Party into government, who don't fix anything.
4. The supposed victim's representatives, from one Party, have run:
   (a) The Federal Government and State Governing 60% of time from the 1960s to 2019, where some of the worst States have had nearly had total control by the Democrat Party for decades.
   (b) Nearly 100% of the worst crime-ridden, poverty stricken cities in the USA have been run by the Democrat Party from the 1960s through 2019, yet nothing is done to help the victims.
   (c) Corruption is rarely prosecuted when it concerns anyone in the Democrat party.
5. The supposed victims in the United States have things that people in other countries only dream about.
6. These supposed victims, who have things that people in other countries only dream about, yet they want America to be more like those other countries.

What programs help Americans

Most United States citizens do not know that most citizens eventually will draw upon government benefits for their life existence.  This disproves the belief that the United States does not take care of its citizens and also immigrants that are in the country legally and illegally.

There are six major welfare programs, amongst other minor federal and local level programs, to help everyone:

1. Temporary Assistance to the Needy
2. Medicaid
3. Supplemental Assistance Programs
4. Supplemental Security Income
5. Earned Income Tax Credit
6. Housing Assistance

Democrat Controlled Cities, aided by the Media, Cause Evil?

It is the opinion of this author and many, many research groups, that Democrat Controlled areas, along with Democrat Policies, have been causing portions in America's largest cities for decades to become the worst places to live.  The problem is people and businesses are:

• Not getting enough protection from crime.
• Criminals do not spend enough time in jail to keep them off the streets and to be a deterrent for others to see.  Criminals, unfortunately have the possibility and tendency to recruit and encourage others to become criminals.
• The correct governmental programs to encourage scholastics in school, entrepreneurship in business and family unit health are not provided or encouraged.  As an example of what is wrong in schools, is the programs and curriculum are designed to keep all students at the same level, which prohibits many positive possibilities for exceptional students.

If hope is taken away or is difficult to obtain, regarding the belief that we can exceed financially in life, then people will gravitate toward illegal ways of making money along with committing crimes.  To further exacerbate the situation, when we often watch many media outlets, we will notice the demonization of police in high crime and low-income areas, which prohibits them from doing their jobs, which also consists of protecting people, business and personal property.

The Politicians, who have controlled the worst crime and economically challenged cities in the United States, have been mostly Democrats or Independents for decades and decades.  It is can be very difficult to turn around many cities, even if a good mayor from any political party, comes into office when long periods of problems have been occurring.  Too often, the economic issues continue to fester, and the solution seems to be always explained as Republican Politicians fault in the media.  When viewing the media reports, there is always a desire to create controversy to increase viewership which drives up advertising revenues, but it is more than that when competing views that explain another side are being censored. 

In very interesting studies, that can be found easily on Internet searches, it has been found that people have a higher tendency to commit crimes if they are surrounded by an environment that:

1. Has dirty streets along with buildings not maintained or have graffiti.
2. Derelict or homeless people are allowed to stay and go anywhere.
3. There is a lack of order.
4. Has little or no police presence. 

It is this author's opinion that even the worst crime ridden cities along with low educational areas, are very attractive and financially lucrative areas to be converted into industrialization in terms of manufacturing.  A few of the prerequisites are

• Tax benefits to draw businesses to the needed areas.
• A highly visible policing force.
• Longer time in jail or prison for criminals.
• Prosecution of corrupt politicians.
• Oversight to prohibit business government favoritism on contracts. 

Once industrial business start, then it becomes a catalyst for more improvements in the standards of living in the areas when the necessary infrastructures build around the income such as grocery stores, department stores, automobile gasoline and repair stores, fast food restaurants and so much more. 

Many readers will ask the question on why Detroit and Flint, Michigan, in the United States, have failed and had problems for so long.  Both of these cities had a prosperous and highly industrialized economy in the past.  Detroit is a textbook example of how a city, that was once a thriving metropolis, can fail and the reasons behind the failure are more than can be easily summarized.  The benefit of reviewing cities like Detroit, is there are "lessons learned" to help in not making the same mistakes in the future.

Is the Population Hypnotized?

It is this author's opinion that most of the problems in the United States, along with many other countries, is the propaganda and half-truths caused by groups that control the Media Sources.  The Media Sources consist of Internet, Television, Print News Agencies and also the Entertainment Television Show and Movie Industry which by and large are against Godly principles, Socialistic and have liberal minded ideals that are glorified.  By controlling the media, then there is the potential to shape people's views and steer people into incorrect and wrong beliefs. 

Below are four examples of propaganda and types of conundrums that make no sense, yet they continuously are being told through every type of media in the United States.  There is a famous quote by Adolph Hitler's Propaganda Minister named Dr Paul Joseph Goebbels who said,

"Tell a lie enough times and it will be believed."

• We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge all gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.  Obviously, we do not judge all people of a group by the actions of the few, but the majority of a group has never been able to control the actions of the few.  This is part of the point of the Peaceful People are Irrelevant Point.
• For almost 50 years, Democrat Politicians have been talking about how Social Security is going to run out of funding.  There is a partial truth in required funding needed with increases in tax, which is reported in some news outlets, but that is minor compared to what is unfortunately spoken too often in the Media Outlets.  The News Media for multiple decades have been giving media airtime to Democrats who blame Republicans for Social Security failing.  Before getting into the truth, there is the portion of the educated public which has been asking, "how come we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money?"  We always need to remember that people have paid into Social Security and the payments were meant to be for the retirement years.  Social Security funds were taken by the Democrats under Lyndon Johnson and the error of the process has never been fixed.

• In 2016, the Republican President of the United States, Donald Trump, began the process of bringing back jobs to the United States, through executive actions and initiatives, where companies that were spending and investing in labor in other countries, along with transferring intellectual property, started bringing back the investments and labor to the United States, yet the Democrat Party has been fighting against this progress with massive propaganda in the media to stop it.   One research study states that media outlets are proponents for the Democrat Party.  For an example of one current industry that the United States is losing world dominance is the Medical Research Industry.
• In 2021, the Democrat President of the United States, Joseph Biden, has not discontinued many of the initiatives in this area, but has already started dismantling some of the protections given to American Citizens, who are losing their means of income in both the blue and white collar professions.  Arguably, there is unfortunately not enough workers in many professions, so the need for immigrant workers is absolutely needed, but not when American Companies can circumvent any legal means to claim an immigrant worker, brought in from another country legally, is required because the American Company can pay the immigrant a lesser wage.  Any and all Media coverage is giving nothing but positive analysis on the policies, which is morally wrong when not giving all of the facts.
